About Us

The Initiative 360 is powered entirely by dedicated volunteers who share a passion for serving others. Through their time, compassion, and commitment, we support charitable fundraising efforts throughout Colorado while expanding our humanitarian outreach through Footprints and promoting animal welfare through Little Paws in Yucatán, Mexico.

Every event, every donation, and every volunteer effort help strengthen communities and create lasting, meaningful change.

The Initiative was established in 2015 by Karen Munro, whose lifelong commitment to serving others inspired the creation of an organization dedicated to compassion, collaboration, and community impact.

Although The Initiative was established in 2015, its journey was one of thoughtful growth rather than rapid expansion. What began as a vision rooted in compassion gradually evolved through years of service, volunteerism, and humanitarian outreach. In 2023, a transformative life experience helped refine and expand that vision, marking a new chapter in the organization's evolution. With renewed purpose, The Initiative took shape as the organization it is today—building strategic partnerships, broadening its humanitarian efforts, and extending its reach to create meaningful impact both locally and internationally.

Today, The Initiative continues to connect individuals, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and community leaders in support of sustainable initiatives that strengthen communities, improve lives, and inspire positive change.

 At The Initiative 360, we believe the greatest impact is achieved through collaboration. Our vision is to unite donors, businesses, nonprofits, volunteers, and community organizations to create lasting solutions for those in need.

One of our long-term goals is to help make no-kill shelters the standard—not the exception—by increasing community support and connecting animal shelters with the funding, partnerships, and resources they need to save more lives. As our network grows, we also aspire to expand our partnerships with children's hospitals, first responders, organizations serving families in need, and other charitable initiatives that strengthen our communities.
